A decision was taken at the government level to construct 10-bed isolation wards with modern medical facilities in one hospital in each constituency of the state. The government has appointed Kerala Medical Services Corporation Limited (KMSCL) as a special purpose vehicle for the Rs 250 crore project, which will be funded equally from Asset Development Fund and KIFB Fund.The construction of said buildings with an area of 2,400 square feet using pre-engineers structure is completed by Thrissur District Labor Contract Co-operative Society.
